Easy and Quick Nutritious Muffins Recipe in 15 Minutes

Here is a recipe for nutritious muffins:


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, flaxseed meal, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the banana, applesauce, milk, egg, and honey. Mix well.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Stir in the nuts or seeds, if desired.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
